
Larry M. Nakahara
Larry Nakahara is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Nakahara Law, A.P.C., located in Torrance, California. Larry was born and raised in Hawaii and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii in 1974 where he majored in accounting. He traveled to California to attend law school at Pepperdine School of Law and later obtained his Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from the University of Florida. Larry began practicing law in Torrance, California in 1978 as an associate lawyer in the areas of probate and estate planning. Larry continues to practice law in the areas of probate, estate planning, and probate litigation.
During his law practice in the South Bay area, Larry has volunteered as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Municipal Court, South Bay District, served as an Instructor at El Camino College in the Probate and Trusts Paralegal Program. Larry was also a member of the Del Amo Rotary Club and served as President in 1991 and was a member of the South Bay Estate Planning Council and served as President in 1987.
Larry is a supporter of youth sports programs and served as an assistant coach and soccer referee for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 14, and Assistant Scout Master and Committee Chairman for Troop 851. In his spare time, Larry likes to hike mountain trails, attend Dodger games, and participate in 5k events in the South Bay area.
